A meme for a windy Wednesday

4 jobs I've had
1. Personal Assistant
2. Engineering Assistant in an aircraft maintenance company
3. Level 2. Tech Support
4. modeled togas in a bridal fair in Tel Aviv (honestly!)

4 movies I could watch over and over.
I’m going to cheat and declare movies as meaning any dvd in my collection.
1. Any of the Pink Panther films (but not the one with Steve Martin in)
2. Bringing up Baby
3. All Creatures Great and Small
4. Eddie Izzard performances (the old ones, not too fond of his new stuff)

4 places I have lived (apart from where I am now)
1. Doha, Qatar
2. Kalamazoo & Detroit, Michigan
3. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
4. Maastricht, the Netherlands

4 TV shows I love
1. Charmed (yes I know I know)
2. New Tricks
3. QI
4. Jam & Jerusalem

4 places I have been for a holiday
1. New Zealand to see the grandparents when I was 7
2. Disney World, Florida
3. Interrailed around Germany with MrV and FB (when he was 2)
4. Island hopping in Greece

4 websites I visit daily
1.All the blogs I read. To list them here would take too long
2. Yahoo
3. The Guardian
4. Tomato Nation

4 favourite foods
1. Chocolate – milk. Never white chocolate and never dark
2. salad – Caesar, plain, greek
3. All fish except swordfish. I would kill for a hammour (excuse the spelling. It’s a fish from the Arabian Gulf and easily the most delicious fish I have ever eaten, especially with tartar sauce made in the Gulf Hotel)
4. Cheese. Especially those forbidden unpasteurized soft cheeses.

4 places I would rather be
1. Edinburgh, either in my dream home in the Grange or a flat in Marchmont (or Ramsay Gardens though that gets rather noisy during the Festival)
2. Australia so I could meet all the people who leave comments
3. Somewhere snowy so the FB could experience snow. He is desperate to build a snowman and throw a snowball.
4. If I have to be in London, then a townhouse in Knightsbridge

Cue a wolf whistle....looove the new look!

The only TV show I recognise is Charmed! Don't watch it though.

Almost agree with the chocolate comment, except I love white chocolate, mediocre about dark but will eat it if there is nothing else.

So glad you did. Hey, how's this for spooky - I've lived in Doha and Riyadh too! Feeling all Twilight Zone-ish now...

Oooh, I've been tagged to do this one. Must get a wriggle on!

Don't you hate the restrictions pregnancy places on your eating habits. No yummy soft cheeses, no sushi. It's hard, I tells ya!

I love love love New Tricks. It's so enjoyable. Although we've just been left with a cliffhanger. Jack (James Bolam) about to run down the murderer of his beloved Mary. Have you got a new series yet after that? Not enjoying the wait to find out what happens.

When are you posting up the photos of the toga-modelling gig? ;-)

Like the blog redecoration by the way.

I like this meme. Qatar and Saudi Arabia sound fascinating. Did you enjoy it?

Those four jobs are so indicative of the new way of working, aren't they? No more life long jobs at the one company. I lost number of jobs that I've held, but my career has gone from journalism to nannying to corporate commnications to mother to...well, who knows what's next?!

Swing by Sydney any time, and say hello!

I'm gone for a couple of days and looks what happens! I thought I was in the wrong place. But I have to agree I really do like those cherry blossoms.

Love All Creatures Great and Small, The Guardian and of course soft cheese.

You've certainly lived a life. Travel and workwise!

I'm off to check out Tomato Nation!

ali I wonder if we knew each other. Doha is the more likely place.

askinstoo, you looked yesterday. please stop now.

aunty. I will see if i can find you snippets of the different shows. All worth watching.

Stomper, they've just started reshowing that series on BBC1 so I think we might be in for the new series shortly. I hope!
Alas no photos of the toga modelling. The company I was representing was not supposed to be at the fair so I spent most of it sitting down beside some girl looking after her boyfriend's (or maybe her) IDF machine gun! Got paid for it though which was good.

My Float, loved Qatar - that was my childhood home and where all my friends lived. Not quite so fond of Saudi as I get quite irked with the whole women can't do anything thing.

Nutmeg, Tomato Nation is fantastic especially the articles about her cats, and all the advice columns.
