Yesterday my beloved John Lewis made a little booboo. They delivered the pushchair to us as agreed and several other things I had purchased at the same time, and then delivered the several other things again later on in the day. It is very tempting to keep the second delivery and sell it all on Ebay (alas they didn't duplicate the pushchair order) but no, so now I am stuck at home waiting for them to call back and arrange to pick up the box in the kitchen, hopefully before one of the cats mistakes it for the litter tray.

That's it, Velcro. Don't attract that bad karma to yourself, however tempting! Give my kitties a little pat from me.
I'm with Stomper. You've done well to avoid the karma!
I'm sure if you let them know the stuff was about to go on ebay the delivery van would turn up before you put the phone down.
(Shame about them not duplicating the pushchair though, I'd have happily taken that off your hands.)
I've never heard of John Lewis ( just googled it ;)
Like Stomper said though, you don't want to have the karma gods raining on your 'birth day'...
Dang those double deliveries!
But totally agree on the Karma thingy.
Keep your feet up.
Too bad they're not paying you for waiting around to get it picked up!
They should give you the pushchair for free, that's it.
Yeah, you may NEVER get to sleep on your tummy again if you keep it ;) That horror haunts me at night.
box is being picked up tomorrow so I shall have to take all the clean laundry and Stomper's cats out of it.
Alas MrsT still no duplicate pushchair.
Karma gods have already struck - we have to move out by the end of June which means looking for a new place to live NOW.
