A Very Tiny Penis

That got your attention! And probably quite a few links from google too. But alas it's a quite mundane; we got the final results of the CVS in today and everything is fine, the Peanut has absolutely no chromosomal abnormalities but does have a very tiny penis. But what do you expect when he, yes it's a boy, is only the size of a lemon. So out of the window goes my extensive research into none-pink baby girl clothes and in steps my new son and I don't have a clue what to call him and neither does MrV.
Told the FB he is getting a brother and his face dropped. "I want a sister"he said, then he smiled "we put this one in the bin".
"Umm no" I replied "maybe next time you'll have a sister"
I can guarantee that if the Peanut had been a girl, the FB would have wanted a brother. He's just so easy to please.

Hooray! Awsome news!

I didn't get a boy until I had my third, and I wanted a boy so bad.

He's everything I hoped for!

Congratulations! I kinda feel sorry for the little guy though, I can't imagine that at any age, at any size, the male species would like to know their penis was called too small. Hopefully he will have a growth spurt in that area before he is born and end up the envy of all the other little boys in the hospital nursery!

Ach he'll get over it I'm sure! And it is in proportion to the rest of him at this age so it's not too small just little cos he's little too. if that makes sense.
how was your evening out?

Yay for the good news that all is alright. It's quite handy having two in a row the same sex, you can hand down a lot. Occasionally Jenny (4) says she'd like a big brother, which is pretty difficult to arrange. If we'd gone for a third it would have been good to have a little man.

Congratulations on your male peanut! I have two boys, and its divine while they're both so young. Little boys love their mums.
Am a bit worried about being the only girl in the house in a few years time though. I think I should give up on the toilet seat right now.

Yes, my first two were boys and Stomper Girl is right - give up on the toilet seat AND get used to checking the toilet floor BEFORE you step on it. Does this mean Peanut's name will be changing to PEANUS?

Congratulations that everything is fine with your new little man. Though I did notice a phrase that could lead me to believe that there may be more some day....

I love it when people find out - I really don't get the whole "we want it to be a surprise" thing...

When we announced pregnancy number two (very, very early) to eldest daughter we asked her what she wanted it to be, a brother or a sister?

"Both, a boy AND a girl," she said.

"Ha, ha," we laughed, "you can only have one or the other honey, not both!"

Three weeks later we saw two heartbeats on the ultrasound.

Nine weeks later the US tech told us we were having a boy AND a girl.

Every time eldest complains about the twins I tell her she only has herself to blame.

Fantastic Bec! The FB wanted a brother and a sister too but we already knew that we weren't having twins
Oooh I already know about the treacherously damp toilet floors after staying in halls at uni. You needed wellies sometimes! The FB's aim is usually pretty good fortunately.
Yup, MrV would love to have 3 children. I'm saying we should see how this one goes.

Congratulations on your new little boy on the way! Did you find your heart thumping just before you were told?! It is such an amazingly memorable moment - almost as memorable as the birth :)

I did Em! And the midwife built it up so much by asking several times was i sure that i wanted to know.

Yay!

And wait until FB gets a load of how many more boy toys there will be in the house...if Peanut was a girl, he'd have to share playroom space with Barbies!

Kids say the sweetest things--at least their doting mamas think so.I think it was SG who called your new little peanut a "sprog" which reminded me of my oldest son calling his newborn sister "a little sprout"! Congratulations...when are you due?
