Best Friends Forever

I have very friendly fat I've decided. Very friendly and very persistant, to the point that you wonder if it has some sort of condition because it continues to stick around even after you've dropped several very pointed hints about why it should leave. And yet there it is, wobbling away happily to itself while I eat salads for lunch, in Scotland, in winter. It is also very good at making friends - if for example I stupidly and absentmindedly look at a bar of chocolate in a shop I can hear all the little fat cells in my body shouting out "hello, welcome, come for a visit" and hey presto their little friends move in. So really I'm being invaded by tiny little friendly squatters.
This would all be fine if I could eat a normal diet without incurring more squatters but in order to stabilise, not lose, my weight I have the following

muesli & skimmed milk for breakfast
salad for lunch
soup or small dinner

argghhhh

Oh dear, I hear you loud and clear.

I think the squatter's rights are that if they have possession for 20 years, they own the property.

I'm in deep trouble...

I've done Slimming World for 2 weeks and not lost so much as a gram.

So, being bored with being able to eat as much rabbit food as my stomach can take, I bought a 5 pack of Curly Wurlies and 6 pack of Fudge from Sainsburys and scoffed the lot, not quite all at once but within a couple of days sharing a couple of bars with Mr T out of politeness. I've had a rotten cold and have been mainlining Halls Mentholyptus, full sugar ones not the sugar free ones that make you poo a lot.

I lost 4 lbs in a week.

Work that one out!

Weighty matters will always confuse me! I do believe you may lose lbs. or kilos, or whatever way you measure them, with sudden unexpectedness.

In my case I think someone elses have migrated to my bum!

Gosh yes like many, many women I agree with the thoughts here so very much. I'm not overweight, I'm under-height. Ah if only .......... And I love chocolate soooo much, I've not had any for over 14 weeks and boy I miss it; but that fat is refusing to budge. Hey ho.

You and I have the same fat. What a coincidence.
