Did I tell you I'm a rain god?

What did we do to anger nature and get all this rain Meggie? Well, we moved house that's all. For 4 1/2 years we lived in a flat with no garden, and for 4 1/2 years we've had beautiful summers. This summer we move to a house with a garden and as I put the key into the lock for the first time the raindrops begin to fall.

I'm thinking of advertising our services to drought regions. They just need to provide us with a house and garden.....

Oh I was putting the wet weather down to the fact I've taken a well-deserved year off from the loony residents of Wandsworth to spend some nice time with my baby to go for walks in the park etc. Next year when I'm back at work it is guaranteed to be the most glorious summer on record.

Yup next year we might be back in a flat again and of course it'll be sunny again.
All together now.."It's not fair!"

Oh I'm so relieved it's YOUR fault. I thought it was mine, for making a sunhat.

I'm doing a little sunshine dance for you here, and for my sister too. sooo much rain has to mess with your head, especially since it's SUMMER!

We really need to entice you over here to OZ to bring the rain to the poor farmers. I hasten to add, you neednt come to the coast here, -we have had enough thanks, just for now.
Glad the Count is being a good little chap, & taking an interest in the bright danglies!

I'm not getting a comment link on your latest post, so I will do it here.

I am so sorry about your friend, it is so sad to lose someone special, but the memories you have will keep her alive in your heart.

Good, I'm not the only one 'stalking' you on the newest post... I'm so, so sorry darlin'.

So very sorry.

thanks Aunty and Jess. I switched the comments off which is why you couldn't find the link!

And Molly, your dance worked! Hurrah we have sunshine (but no backyard as the landlord has his men round pulling up all the bricks after part of the yard subsided from all that rain). Never mind, it's keeping the FB fascinated.

Sympathy from here too about your friend. Far too young, if she's your age.

Sunny today here in the golden-aired north. But it's about to be the Festival, so umbrellas to the ready...

I think you must have moved to Australia because after years of drought, we've been getting loads of rain!

(Sorry about your friend. You have lovely memories)
